Experiences of Patrick Meerwald at the ERASMUS+ Program in Timisoara, Romania

In this program, Marketing and PR Officer Meerwald had the opportunity to enhance his marketing skills, deepen existing ones, and also gain exciting insights from various institutions within the European community.

From December 2 to 6, 2024, each day focused on different aspects of the diverse world of marketing. From online marketing to design thinking, the workshops covered a wide range of topics where Patrick Meerwald was able to contribute actively. Additionally, the various participants presented the unique characteristics of their institutions. Through detailed discussions of tasks and challenges in the plenary sessions, intercultural dialogue was successfully promoted. The numerous networking opportunities with colleagues were gratefully received and utilized by all participants.

A day dedicated to cultural immersion successfully rounded off the five-course days. On this day, the 13 participants from Austria, Latvia, Hungary, Germany, Belgium, Czechia, Spain, France, and Italy learned about the history, traditions, and other aspects of Romania, specifically the city of Timisoara.

This city has been known for centuries as a hub of multicultural exchange, which provided a valuable benefit in terms of awareness and promoting intercultural dialogue.
