Simon Reitmaier's Erfahrungen bei der ERASMUS STAFF MOBILITY in Litauen

Friedrich Gulda School of Music teacher Simon Reitmaier spent a week in Lithuania as part of the Erasmus Staff Mobility program. He shares his impressions here:

“I had a wonderful time in Lithuania working with the wind instrument students of the Kaunas Music Academy. It was truly rewarding to see how interested the young students were in reflections and thoughts on the topic of ‘practice.’

In addition, we were able to work intensively on shaping phrasing. A particularly enjoyable chamber music session at the end of the week was the rehearsal with a very dedicated string quartet on Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet.

Overall, it was a very enriching time in Kaunas, and I would be very happy to visit again.”
