“My days in Osijek were filled with chamber music, many engaged students, a warm atmosphere, and a positive spirit. Osijek is a small town in Croatia, and the music academy is located right in the heart of the old town, next to the river. The building has several beautiful, spacious rooms. It was a great pleasure to teach there for a few days. To me, it feels almost like a miracle how quickly music brings us together—despite coming from different countries, different cultural backgrounds, and often only having English as a common language. Yet music allows us to connect quickly, united by our shared pursuit of beauty and precision. I truly enjoyed my time there and would return without hesitation.”
