Welcome to the International Office of Friedrich Gulda School of Music Wien.
Our conservatory is an international music community: More than half of our students come from abroad – currently representing over 30 different nationalities. For us, music connects cultures, speaks many languages, and is open to new perspectives.

Accommodation in Vienna
The International Office at Friedrich Gulda School of Music Wien supports students in finding accommodation in Vienna. We assist with the search process and work closely with a student residence.
Our goal is to help you settle into life in Vienna as smoothly as possible.
Health Insurance
The International Office provides guidance on health insurance for international students. We offer information on insurance requirements for entering Austria and on the health insurance options available during the stay, including public and private coverage.
Buddy Program
We promote internationalisation at home: Our Buddy Program connects new students with experienced students who are already familiar with life in Vienna and studying at our institution.
The programme encourages exchange, cultural connection, and a supportive start to student life.
We warmly welcome students who would like to volunteer as buddies.
German Language Courses
The International Office coordinates the conservatory’s internal German language courses.

Friedrich Gulda School of Music Wien actively participates in the Erasmus+ programme and is part of a growing network of international partner institutions.
