Language Requirements
Language Competence as a Career Opportunity
Learning a language is relevant to the success of your studies, expands your communication options across national and cultural borders, and is an essential aspect of professional and artistic development. We see language skills as the key to interaction and as an important tool for your career.
In order to study successfully and without delay, German language skills at level B1 are required. If, during the entrance exam, your knowledge of German is assessed as insufficient, you should attend a German language course and get your B1 language certificate as soon as possible, at the latest before the start of the 3rd semester.
The levels refer to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). More on this:

Do you already have a German language certificate? We accept these certificates.
