Teaching activity

  • Working at the Friedrich Gulda School of Music since February 2022
  • Since 2022 Lizaveta Bormotova has been working as a Senior Artist at the Gustav Mahler Private University for Music in Klagenfurt

Concerts & Performances

  • Lizaveta Bormotova gives solo concerts and with orchestra in many European countries, in the USA and in Brazil; she has successfully performed in such famous halls as the Brahms Saal Musikverein and the Mozart Saal Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Salle Cortot in Paris and the Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
  • At the beginning of 2024, Lizaveta released her debut album “Last Sonata” with late works by Ludwig van Beethoven. Also in 2024, Lizaveta recorded J.S.Bach's Goldberg Variations (arranged for flute and piano by J. Strauss) for Universal Music Group together with flutist James Strauss. The release is expected in summer 2024.
  • By 2025, Lizaveta is preparing the release of the song cycle “Reisebuch aus den österreichischen Alpen” by Ernst Krenek together with tenor Alexander Kaimbacher 
     

Prizes & Awards

Lizaveta has won prizes at many international competitions - including

  • 1st prize at the international competition “Barletta 2020 Piano Competition” (Italy, 2020),
  • 3rd prize at the international competition “Classic Pure Vienna International Music Competition” 2018 (Vienna, Austria),
  • 1st prize at the international competition “IMKA” 2017 (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina),
  • 3rd prize at the international competition “XXII Carl Filtsch International Piano Competition” 2017 (Sibiu, Romania),
  • 1st prize at the international competition “Premio Roma 2016” (Rome, Italy), and the
  • 1st prize at the international competition festival “Talente des 21. Jahrhunderts” 2016 (Vienna, Austria).
  • Lizaveta is also a laureate of a special fund to support talented young people from the President of the Republic of Belarus.
